Engagement Session season is in full swing and I couldn’t be more excited about it! It’s such a valuable time for me because getting to know my couples on a personal level is probably my biggest priority as a wedding photographer. Believe it or not, when I was getting married I told my wedding photographer that I didn’t want an Engagement Session because I don’t love being in front of the camera! She told me that that’s exactly why I NEEDED an Engagement Session. I was SO grateful we did it! The wedding day went so much more smoothly because Matt and I knew her and had done it before! I completely understand that esessions may not be for everyone, but I’ve yet to hear of anyone regretting doing one! It helps the portrait time on the wedding day flow naturally and increases my couples’ confidence! Not to mention that you get to document such an exciting, fleeting time in your lives!

Lisa, Doug and I spent an evening walking around the beautiful Dundurn Castle and had such a fun time. Lisa + Doug  couldn’t stop smiling during their session and neither could I! Their wedding is this Saturday at the Ancaster Mill and I’m counting down the hours! Congratulations you two! Can’t wait to hang out again on the most special day of your lives!
