I met Sarah and Matt about a month before their wedding. That’s not typically when couples book, but I’ll be forever grateful that a crazy wedding planning journey connected us and I got to capture this beautiful, heartfelt day. Hearing their story, how long they’d been together and how Matt proposed made me so excited to be able to work with them.

Sarah did so much for the day – her great taste and creative eye touched every part of the wedding day. It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with beautiful details, and Sarah’s did not disappoint. The Ancaster Mill was the perfect venue for their natural, beautiful day. There was so much of their personality infused into even the smallest details.

Throughout the entire day, what stuck out to me the most was the incredible love, warmth and excitement of Sarah, Matt, and everyone around them. Walking into the getting ready room I was immediately greeted by the sweetest group of girls who were so calm and ready for the day! Despite an eventful evening the night before, they were just so excited to see their best friend get married. That genuine love and excitement filled every moment of their wedding day. I always look forward to the speeches because I get to know the bride and groom from the people who know them best and love them most. And these two are just so loved. Everyone was laughing, crying, and you could literally feel the love in the room.
